Die-hard readers over here at IntoMobile whitethorn rich person noticed my abscence this past weekend. Was out in Minneapolis over the weekend, and boy, it was nice to farewell things fundament for a few years for some rest and relaxation (ok, and maybe a few beers too). As I’m slowly getting backrest up-to-speed here, I noticed that a couple of BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) OS updates became available over the weekend. Of course of action, they’re both of the ‘unofficial’ sort, so do install at your own peril.
First we rich person OS 5.0.0.140 for the BlackBerry Storm 9500. There are 2 download links available for this unity. The first one comes with RIM’s beta tracking instrument ‘Quincy’. If you install this variant, be sure to go add/remove programs and uninstall RIM Internal Apps 5.0. The other variant right here has no ‘Josiah Quincy’ or internal tools built-in to the parcel. I’d recommend it.
Next comes OS 5.0.0.130 for the Bold and Curve 8900. You tin grab it for the Bold right here, or the Curve 8900 right field here.
