Steve Ballmer praises Apple’s App Store

Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) CEO Steve Ballmer reportedly had some variety words for its long-meter opposition Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) and its App Store. Will wonders never cease?

“Apple’s done a very nice line of work that allows citizenry to monetize and commercialize their intellectual prop,” Balmer reportedly said about the App Store shoemaker’s last week at the University of Washington.

This is a remarkable reversal for Ballmer, who has been less than kind regarding the iPhone (see video below). Some might say this (more…)
