Apple scores 120,000 iPad pre-orders in a mean solar day; Diamond iPad in deeds

We know that Apple managed to hit the 50,000 confirmed orders mark for its iPad in the first deuce hours. That, however, was just the start. The Cupertino folks apparently ended the day with a total of long hundred,000 iPads pre-ordered!

Of that number, all models — 16GB, 32GB and 64GB — turned out equally attractive. wireless local area network edition was more popular than the ace with 3G, with deuce of every three customers decision making not to waiting for (more…)

Steve Ballmer praises Apple’s App Store

Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) CEO Steve Ballmer reportedly had some variety words for its long-meter opposition Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) and its App Store. Will wonders never cease?

“Apple’s done a very nice line of work that allows citizenry to monetize and commercialize their intellectual prop,” Balmer reportedly said about the App Store shoemaker’s last week at the University of Washington.
