Wow, ALK Technologies mustiness be happy with the great class they’ve had – firstly, releasing what I think is the best Sat Nav software for the iPhone (at half the monetary value of some of their competitors), and then coming in at Number 1 in terms of paid-for Apps downloads (in the UK)!
Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) recently released their stats for this class, and CoPilot was round top of the pile – followed by it’s well-known competition, TomTom. The difference between the deuce apps may have been small, but the monetary value differential is quite substantial – to my psyche at least. I can’t fully comparability apples with apples since I’ve not been able to endeavor the TomTom App (yet – maybe when TomTom PR spring me a copy to try! Hint!), but CoPilot does definitely fall in to that class of must-rich person Apps on the iPhone.
