The iPhone’s on-screen keyboard is either loony convenient or arduously awkward. iPhone owners that rich person mastered tap-typewriting at 40 words per hour probably rich person little to no complaints over having to type on a field glass touchscreen. Those with less nimble fingers have likely adjusted to life with a virtual keyboard, but distillery swearing the iPhone’s lack of a physical keyboard under their hint. For all you iPhone owners in the latter group, iTwinge mightiness be your answer. The iTwinge is a hard-keyboard arm for your iPhone that isn’t just useful, it’s ugly to boot!
To be fair, we tin see how the added benefit of having physical keyboard keys outweighs the downsides of having to spring up one-half the iPhone’s touchscreen and piglet-backup a lump of plastic onto the iPhone dock connector. The iTwinge goes for $30 and will be available starting November 19, 2009 – just in meter to drive the holiday shopping waving.
We’d rather manipulation an external Bluetooth keyboard with our iPhone. Unfortunately, we’ll rich person to waiting (or, hold wait) until Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) endows the iPhone with the right Bluetooth stack to make that happen.
iTwinge $29.99
